With an emergency kit, you're well-prepared for disasters, calamities, or emergencies. Putting one together is easy. You probably already have most of the items at home. See below for what you'll need.

Store the items in a convenient, easily accessible location. Use waterproof packaging like a backpack, which you can easily take with you if you need to evacuate suddenly. Check your emergency supplies every six months. Is the stock still complete? Are the products still good? Also consider your personal situation, for example, baby food, medications, and food and drink for your pets.
